Pulse, by Nuclivia

Pulse

The follow-up lives in your pocket.

A nutrigenetic report is one afternoon. The plan that comes out of it is months, and Pulse is where those months happen: your devices, your food, your sleep and your plan, measured against yourself. Pulse will be available to everyone.

Coming to Android and iPhone. Not in the stores yet.

Pulse’s Sleep screen: last night’s duration and sleep score, an overnight chart of sleep stages and a seven-night trend, all marked as sample data.
Pulse’s Today screen: activity rings for steps, active calories and exercise, a hydration nudge, local air quality and a prompt to request a DNA test, all marked as sample data.
Pulse’s Journey screen: a level and points bar, a daily streak, three daily challenges and achievement badges, all marked as sample data.

Screens from the current build, shown with the app’s built-in sample data.

Four things it does well.

  • Works with what you already wear

Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iPhone, so any watch or ring that syncs to your phone counts.

  • Log food the way India eats

An Indian food list — dal, roti, idli, poha, chai — with vegetarian and non-vegetarian marked.

  • Measured against your own baseline

Sleep, activity and heart rate compared with your last seven days, not with a population average.

  • Your plan, between check-ins

A weekly plan that adapts to your recovery, and the plan from your consultation, in one place.

Inside Pulse.

Six screens from the build as it stands today, each shown with the app's own sample data.

Pulse’s Today screen: activity rings for steps, active calories and exercise, a hydration nudge, local air quality and a prompt to request a DNA test, all marked as sample data.

01Today

Your day, from the devices you already own.

Pulse reads from Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iPhone, so a watch, a ring or just your phone all count, and a watch and a ring can both feed the same day.

  • Steps, active energy and exercise minutes
  • Resting heart rate, heart-rate variability and blood oxygen, where your device measures them
  • A gentle nudge when you fall behind on water
Pulse’s Sleep screen: last night’s duration and sleep score, an overnight chart of sleep stages and a seven-night trend, all marked as sample data.

02Baselines

Compared with you, not with everyone.

Sleep, recovery and activity are read against your own last seven days. A number means something when you can see how it moved.

  • Sleep duration, stages and a seven-night trend
  • This week against last week
  • Which habits track with your better days
Pulse’s Nutrition screen before any meal is logged: a calorie and macro summary at zero and a prompt to log food from the Indian food list.

03Food

A food log that knows dal from dosa.

Meals are logged against an Indian food list, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian marked and portions in the units people actually use — a bowl of dal, a piece of roti.

  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner
  • Calories and macros against your targets
  • A nudge when protein runs short
Pulse’s Adaptive Plan screen: this week’s focus and a seven-day plan of strength, cardio, mobility and rest, adapted from recovery, all marked as sample data.

04Plan

A week that re-plans itself.

Pulse shapes a seven-day plan for training and food, and adjusts it as your recovery changes, so a bad night becomes an easier day rather than a missed one.

  • Strength, cardio, mobility and rest across the week
  • Scaled to how recovered you are
  • Genetic context from your consultation, where you have it
Pulse’s Weekly Report screen: a one-line summary of the week, its wins, one thing to watch and one focus for next week, all marked as sample data.

05Each week

One thing to keep, one thing to change.

Every week ends with a short report: what went well, what to watch, and a single focus for the week ahead. Small, repeatable habits beat heroic weeks.

  • Wins and watch-outs in plain language
  • One focus, not a list of ten
  • A health summary you can share with a doctor or family, when you choose
Pulse’s Journey screen: a level and points bar, a daily streak, three daily challenges and achievement badges, all marked as sample data.

06Momentum

Streaks that make the habit stick.

Daily challenges, streaks and levels turn the plan into something you come back to. Consistency is the part genetics cannot do for you.

  • Three daily challenges, each on a different metric
  • Streaks that count any ring you close
  • Levels and achievements that grow with you

Your health data stays yours.

  • Local-first

Your health data is stored on your phone, not on our servers.

  • Never sold

Your data is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.

  • Encrypted connections

Every connection is encrypted, and account tokens are kept in the phone’s secure keystore.

  • Yours to remove

Disconnect a source and its data is cleared. Uninstall and everything on the phone goes with it.
